I’m Ty Morton, and I am the man behind the lens at Tylonius Studio, Inc.
I have been a photographer and graphic designer for over thirty years (and a web designer and developer for twenty-five of those), with most of that time spent working with well-known full-service agencies in Florida, such as TKOrlando, Great Big Circle, and Say It Loud.
My first published photographs were as a staff photographer for the Ball State Daily News in the early 90s.
“Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.”
– Henri Cartier-Bresson
After years of agency work that increasingly consisted of digital marketing, I decided to shift my focus (pun intended) back to photography in 2021. I travelled to France to compile images for my Following Vincent exhibit, several of which have been selected for gallery exhibitions in London, Barcelona, Cyprus, and Manila.
The bulk of my work is residential real estate photography and construction documentation, but I also enjoy landscape, travel, and outdoor event photography. One day, I’m shooting a three-bedroom/three-bath ranch house; the next I’m mapping a 150 acre, one million square foot construction project; and then on the weekend, I’m out shooting aerial videos over the water of a triathlon.
It might just be the best job in the world.
I hope to work with you soon.
About That Name
In the early 90s, I was part of a theater company called Torchlight Productions. We mostly did Shakespeare plays and gave each other “Shakespearean” nicknames. Mine was “Tylonius,” which later became my internet handle, and has stuck ever since.
